ALMAA — Shipping Policy


Overview

Every ALMAA bag is handmade to order in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order so you know exactly what to expect once your purchase is complete.


Where we ship

We currently ship to Australian addresses only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

If you are located outside of Australia and would like to enquire about a purchase please reach out to us at hello@almaayarravalley.com and we will do our best to assist.


Shipping rates

We offer a flat rate shipping fee on all orders, calculated at checkout before you complete your purchase. There are no surprises at the end.


Processing and dispatch

Because every ALMAA bag is handmade and released in limited fortnightly drops, please allow 3 to 5 business days from the close of the drop for your order to be processed and dispatched.

Custom orders may require additional processing time. If your order includes a custom piece you will be contacted with an estimated dispatch timeframe once production is underway.

Add-on items — water bottle pocket and tassel — are attached during the making process and do not add to your dispatch timeframe.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details.


Delivery timeframes

We ship via Australia Post standard shipping. Once dispatched, estimated delivery timeframes are:

  • Victoria — 2 to 4 business days
  • New South Wales, South Australia, ACT — 3 to 6 business days
  • Queensland — 3 to 6 business days
  • Western Australia, Northern Territory — 5 to 10 business days
  • Tasmania — 4 to 8 business days

These are estimated timeframes provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary during peak periods including Christmas, Easter, and public holidays.


Tracking your order

All orders are sent with tracking. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email containing your Australia Post tracking number. You can track your order at auspost.com.au.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within 5 business days of the drop closing please check your junk or spam folder first and then contact us at hello@almaayarravalley.com.


Delivery address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of placing your order. ALMAA is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout.

If you need to update your delivery address please contact us immediately at hello@almaayarravalley.com. We will do our best to update your details before dispatch however we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has been processed.


Authority to leave

If you are not home at the time of delivery Australia Post will leave your parcel in a safe location where possible or leave a calling card with instructions to collect from your nearest post office.

If you have specific delivery instructions please include them in the notes section at checkout and we will do our best to pass these on.


Lost or delayed parcels

Once your order has been dispatched it is in the hands of Australia Post. ALMAA is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by Australia Post or circumstances outside of our control.

If your parcel appears to be lost or significantly delayed please contact us at hello@almaayarravalley.com and we will lodge an enquiry with Australia Post on your behalf and work with you to find a resolution.


Damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged please contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel at hello@almaayarravalley.com. Please include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging

We will assess the damage and work with you to find the best resolution. This may include a replacement, repair, or refund in line with our Returns and Refunds Policy and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Packaging

We pack every order with care. Our packaging is kept simple and considered — in line with our commitment to being a thoughtful, intentional brand. If you have any special packaging requests for gifting purposes please include a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate.
